Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
This year we are coming together to Make Caring Visible and Valued. For Carers Week, Swansea Carers Centre has planned a range of activities happening both in person and online. The following events will take place and details can be found on the various flyers below.
What’s On?
- Tuesday – Carers’ Walk, Talk and Cakes
- Wednesday – Wednesday Wellbeing at 1pm & Carers Pantomime at 6pm
- Thursday – Chat with JottiesJournal at 11am
- Friday – Coffee at The Cwtsh 10am – 11:30am / 12:30pm – 2pm
