Now more than ever, we are appreciating the chance to get out and socialise with our friends and families. This can be difficult for people who through life events, find their circle has diminished. Swansea Council and Action for Elders recognise this, and are providing opportunities for you to be able to socialise and meet new people. This is also a great opportunity to speak to the council and partners in a relaxed and informal setting.

Older Person’s Partnership and Involvement Officer Rhys Thomas from Swansea Council and Stephanie Booth from Action for Elders are hosting a tea and chat session every Friday starting this Friday 22nd October from 1pm until 3pm. The event will be held at The Swigg in Swansea Marina SA1 3RD. This is free to attend with teas and coffees provided.

If you enjoy taking in the sights of the Marina by foot, they will also be starting a regular walk in the Marina from Thursday 4th November. Meet 10:15am at the National Waterfront Museum (SA1 3RD). This will also be followed by teas and coffees
