The festive period can be a difficult time to get in touch with different services due to holidays and changed opening hours. The Swansea Carers Centre have put together a list of emergency telephone numbers to get through the Christmas period.

Closed December 25th – January 3rd
Open January 4th 9am – 4.30pm

Welsh Dementia Helpline which provides support, information and signposting. Call 0808 808 2235 or text HELP to 81066 The number is free from landlines and most mobiles. Open 24/7 over the Christmas period.

Dementia UK If you have a question or concern around #dementia, or are looking for emotional support, you can speak to Dementia UK Admiral Nurse this festive season via email helpline@dementiauk.org or by calling 0800 8886678 The phoneline is open every day, except 25th December, and virtual appointments are available to book https://dementiauk.org/get-support/how-we-can-support-you/.

The Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Connect support line is open on Christmas Eve (Fri 24 Dec) from 9am-12pm, on 0333 150 3456. The line will reopen on Monday 27 Dec at 10am.
