The festive period can be a difficult time to get in touch with different services due to holidays and changed opening hours. The Swansea Carers Centre have put together a list of emergency telephone numbers to get through the Christmas period.

Welsh Dementia Helpline which provides support, information and signposting. Call 0808 808 2235 or text HELP to 81066 The number is free from landlines and most mobiles. Open 24/7 over the Christmas period.
Dementia UK If you have a question or concern around #dementia, or are looking for emotional support, you can speak to Dementia UK Admiral Nurse this festive season via email firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 0800 8886678 The phoneline is open every day, except 25th December, and virtual appointments are available to book https://dementiauk.org/get-support/how-we-can-support-you/.
The Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Connect support line is open on Christmas Eve (Fri 24 Dec) from 9am-12pm, on 0333 150 3456. The line will reopen on Monday 27 Dec at 10am.
